Description

A fantastic learning tool for teaching children 5 to 8 years about one of New Zealand’s well-known Pukeko birds.

Found in rural and urban areas, the pukeko’s story is one of amazing adaptability. This book tells the reader about where pukeko stand in the bird world, how they look after their eggs and then raise their babies, family groups, what different behaviours mean, where they live and what we can do to help preserve these colourful birds.
